Mandatory Competition: (Beauty & Side Awards): The most elegant part of competition. Contestants will be judged on beauty, poise, and stage
presence. All contestants should model a dress of their choice (within guidelines). No foundation or Eye Make-Up Allowed for any age. Only lip gloss and
pressed power to control shines (age 10-12). No hair extensions, flippers, or false eyelashes. If you break any of these rules anytime during the competition,
your beauty score will be reduced by 50%. What ever you choose, please look natural, because judges want a wholesome look. Keep everything (dress, hair,
etc.,) age appropriate. Scored on a scale of(1-10) in three areas Beauty (1-10);Personality/Smile(1-10);Overall Appearance(1-10)
Side Awards *Sweetest Smile; *Prettiest Eyes;*Prettiest Hair; *Best Dressed;*Personality Plus: Judged during group line up/parade of contestants. While
these do not count toward beauty titles, we appreciate exquisite taste and style and its a nice fun way to win additional awards.

Photogenic (Optional): Photogenic will be judged on the photo you turn in at registration. Please submit one photo (head shots work best but not
required). Photos should not be larger that 8 1/2 x 11 and not smaller than 2 x 3. Photo may be color or black & white. Your choice. No FRAMES PLEASE;
however, clear plastic protective covers may be used. Be sure to label the back of the photo with your child's name and age. Photos may be professional or
snapshots but we do not allow glamour shots/enhanced or air brushed photos. If the judge(s) feel you have not followed the photo rules they have
the right to reduce your score! Pictures are scored on a scale of (1-25) in the areas of: Clarity,Photogenic Talent, Expression and Overall

Commerical/Print Model Photo (Optional for state pageants only ): May be a full to half body shot. This should be one of your best photos!
Child should be selling something in the photo. Photo should look like something we would see in a magazine. Can be advertising toys, clothes, food items.

Composite/Collage (Optional): A composite is made up of at least 2 photos, but no more than 7 -8 photos on a single sheet. Please follow photo rules
do not mix glamour/glitz shots with your natural photos. Pictures are scored on a scale of (1-25) in the areas of: Clarity,
Variety,Creativity,Photogenic Talent, Expression and Overall Appearance
Judges are looking for natural beauty. Scoring in all areas will be based on age appropriateness. We will use a different Judge(s) for this competition,
photo judges do not judge the stage competition.
Optional Wear or Outfit of Choice (Optional): Creativity is a plus! Child's choice of outfit will be judged based on originality, age appropriateness, and
cuteness of the overall look! Props are welcomed and encouraged but not mandatory. Scored on a scale of (1-10) in two areas.Choice of Outfit & Age
Appropriateness (1-10); Overall Appearance & Creativity(1-10).
Talent (Optional): Offered at every pageant this year, except Celina. Open to all contestants. Sing, dance, play an instrument, read a poem or
nursery rhyme! Talent should be limited to 3 min. If you are doing a talent, you must pre-register for this category and notify us of any special equipment
you may need. Scores based on: First Impression,Stage Presence, Artistic technique and ability for age,Originality,Overall quality of
performance.

| Parents may go on stage with children that will not or cannot go alone. (3 yr.& younger parent required) No experience Necessary & Anyone may enter. Tickle your baby or whatever it takes to get that smile. If your formation is different...do no change it we do not want to confuse or upset the child. This will be a fun event! Please be sure to give each judge an opportunity to view and score by following this stage format Simple, just go the X's marked on the stage as indicated on the diagram below. | What's Required for High-Point? Main Beauty Compeition, One Photo Competition and Outfit of Choice or Named Optional Outfit. If you enter more than one photo event, your highest score will be used for high-point qualification. Photo competitions may vary for each pageant check registration form. High Point Award Winners will be the contestants with highest scores of the day (Points from Beauty, One Photo Event, and Highest Optional category will be combined for a total score. One Winner for preliminary pageants; Two Hi-Point Winners for Anniversary or State Competitions. |

| Beauty Compeition: Contestants will do a simple walk on the stage. Contestants may wear a short or long dress. Judging will be based on facial beauty, personality, stage presence and overall appeal. Time Limit: 1 ½ minutes |
| Themed Optional Wear Or Outfit of Choice: This is a free style modeling event. Each pageant will name a different theme. Contestants should wear a themed outfit or costume(Halloween, Christmas, Fairytale,etc.) Anything goes! Be creative! Judging will be based on facial beauty, personality, stage presence and overall appeal. Outfits may be custom or off the rack. Props are allowed but not required. Time Limit: 1 minute |
| Commercial Products Create your own advertisement, you should be selling/advertising something. Be creative, its your own advertisement. You should use props for the category and your own music is allowed Time Limit: 1 minute |
